

Whoever has other ideas and reasons for or against the usage of Open Source in schools is encouraged to write a comment here or join my YouTube channel and comment in there. This list is certainly not complete and I will update it from time to time. I would like to try to list pedagogical arguments for open-source software in schools. My journey into the open-source world started with the introduction to the LTSP concept and specifically the Skolelinux variant that was being trialed at my school back in 2004. Before listing the 15 things I do here is a bit of background of why.
